Big Sister Duties

Shelby is the best big sister ever! She has tried out all of Annelise's toys and equipment to make sure they are safe. Bryan and I went tonight and purchased our carseat and stroller since tomorrow Bryan is going to the carseat safety class at the hospital. (I'm headed out of town for Mother's Day.) Fortunately, the stroller wasn't hard to assemble and the carseat was ready to go out of the box. Shelby is a real trooper. You can see she certainly wasn't happy about this, but she even let me push her around the house while Bryan laughed at both of us.

He felt sorry for her, so he spent time cuddling with her on the couch.

She climbs up on his abdomen and rolls all around on him, sharing lots of sugar. We are afraid of the jealously factor when Annelise arrives. Shelby has been the one and only for so long...and we can safely assume she likes it that way!
